Memorial Day...

Had a wonderful day out at the lake with some great friends some of which I haven't seen in a while!

Had a lovely day! Spent the afternoon with my nephew, took him shopping, to get ice cream and then to the park!  And had the highlight of my day when I took him home my sister asked him where aunt rena was and he pointed at me ;) can't wait for him to say my name. One more day and I get to see my best friend Rae! I have missed her so much. Haven't seen her since the beginning of January. This is the longest we've been apart. Can't wait to have her spend the week with me!!! Our other best friend Tristan is in town also. We haven't all been in the same place since December...sure have missed them! Bring on the fun. Oh and tonight rae wrote a song for me ;)

So, I was having a relaxing evening talking to my best friend on skype..and I had just finished telling her that my dog was acting really weird..seemed to be obsessed with the corner by my front door..and from where I was sitting I couldn't see anything..so I got up to investigate and I found a tiny baby frog...it was huddled up in the corner..no clue how it got into my apartment and had a hard time getting it out..but thankfully it is back outside where it belongs and not in my dog's stomach. Gosh I'm so glad I didn't step on it, that would have been really gross!

Had a long, but good day helping my sister and brother in law move into their new house. 

So excited they can finally unpack all their stuff and get settled.

So thankful for a nice evening without rain! Enjoying some time out on my patio :)

We are now under a tornado warning....storm is starting. Bathroom is all prepared if I need to take cover...hopefully it won't get to that!

really hoping the weather doesn't get too bad tonight...trying not to freak out about it and stay calm.

Laying here trying to get my brain to shut off so I can sleep...not having much luck.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in Joplin, MO that was affected by the devistation tornado early this evening. So thankful that my sister and brother in law made it back from there saftly. they left around 4:30 and the tornado hit around 5.

Been a really long crazy day...can't really complain 
because it really could be worse!

Said goodbye to a dear friend today. Kinda sad, but I'm so excited about the new adventure she's setting out on in England with her new husband! 

 Now I have a great excuse to go visit England!

Had a long day of teaching that went straight into an almost 3 hr music 
recital for my students and the other teachers at the school. They all did a great job and
 I am really proud of the hard work they put into it!

Now I'm home relaxing and trying to unwind from my day and hoping for the best! 

Been one hell of a day...I'll be so glad when it's over! Why can't things just go as planned.

today is a happy day because I found out that im going to be an aunt again!! even better is that it's a little girl ;) Miss Charlotte Jane Hendricks is due Oct 19th....
